OZ Family Cigars officially announced today that it will be introducing its fourth regular
production brand release, Karatoba, at the upcoming PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, April
12-14.

Karatoba is a medium-to-full bodied creation blended by OZ Family founder and cigar industry veteran, Tim Ozgener, in conjunction with NACSA (Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A.}. The cigar features a dark Sumatran (Ecuador) wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. "The cigar opens big, and evolves into a rich, lush profile, that I can only describe as having the essence of a hearty, well-seasoned bolognese sauce, with a maple-syrup finish" commented Ozgener. "For our fourth release under the OZ Family portfolio, I really wanted something that not only captures the palate immediately, but that then takes the smoker on a ride of complex and evolving flavors that really keep the smoking experience interesting and your palate captivated."
OZ Family Karatoba will be available in four soft-pressed vitolas: Toro (61/2 x 50), Robusto (5 x
52), Robusto Extra (5 1/2 x 55), and Gordo (6 x 60), packaged in 21-count boxes, and will have
a suggested retail price range of $12-$13. The cigars are being manufactured at Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) in Esteli, Nicaragua, and shipping is anticipated to begin in May.
