Tobacco Tactical Cigar Co. and Crowned Heads proudly unveil their collaboration
on the Tobacco Tactical Exclusive Crowned Heads Coroneta Habano 5 x 55 Box
Pressed, known as the “555.” This cigar is a testament to both companies'
dedication to innovation, designed to optimize the Coroneta blend for a boxpressed
format.
The journey of the 555 began in 2023 when Alexander Berezowski and Michael
Medrano of Tobacco Tactical traveled to the NACSA factory in Nicaragua for
product development. While sampling Crowned Heads’ prototype blends, the idea
for collaboration took root. What started as a conversation quickly evolved into a
shared vision to craft something exceptional. “This project grew from a foundation
of mutual admiration and a relentless drive for quality,” said Berezowski, cofounder
of Tobacco Tactical. “Jon [Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads] and his
team embraced the creative process with us, blending our strengths to create
something special.”

Meticulously developed and produced at NACSA—a trusted manufacturing partner
for both brands—the 555 benefited from the factory’s expertise in crafting
premium cigars, including Tobacco Tactical’s La Luz Nicaragua line and Crowned
Heads’ Coroneta Habano. This shared connection laid the groundwork for a
seamless collaboration.
“NACSA’s role was pivotal in bringing the 555 to life,” said Jon Huber of Crowned
Heads. “Alexander and Michael’s fresh approach, combined with our collaborative
blending process, resulted in a cigar that truly reflects both brands’ DNA.”
Achieving the perfect balance required extensive testing of sizes and blends to
ensure the box-pressed format enhanced the Coroneta Habano’s flavor while
preserving its core identity. “We weren’t interested in rushing this to market,”
Medrano emphasized. “It was all about perfecting the cigar, and that’s what makes
the 555 so distinctive.”
Limited to just 10,000 cigars, the 555 will first be available through Tobacco
Tactical’s online retail platform in February. Later in the year, a portion of the
production will be allocated to retail partners in box format. The rollout schedule
remains flexible as Tobacco Tactical integrates its newly established wholesale
program with Villiger’s expansive distribution network, recently showcased by the
Villiger 1888 Nicaragua 6x52 Box-Pressed Toro launch.
“Our partnership with Villiger is laying the groundwork for what’s ahead,”
Berezowski remarked. “The 555 is another step in strengthening a distribution
model that ensures premium, exclusive offerings reach our expanding network of
partners and customers.”
